Wild Wellness was formed after decades of helping youth and adults discover the healing, mental health, and overall wellness that arises from connecting with wild places in nature. Nature has a unique way of mirroring what we need on this journey. Our health rangers are here to provide counseling and guide you through this reciprocity during outpatient and intensive retreat services within our community’s lands, lakes, and rivers.
We specialize in counseling those who dislike traditional talk and telehealth therapies—particularly boys, men, and neurodiverse individuals, as well as anyone identified as treatment resistant. Our mental health approaches are particularly beneficial for clients experiencing difficulties adjusting to life events, burnout, compassion fatigue, and triggers from early life trauma, all within a framework that emphasizes nature and wellness. Many find that engaging with the wild elements of our therapy helps alleviate their mood difficulties.
We use trauma and somatically-informed approaches in our counseling to help clients heal and restore their mental health and vitality. By navigating this journey through the lenses of IFS, CBT, and ecopsychology, we emphasize wellness and the importance of connecting with nature. When there are barriers to accessing the outdoors and when medically appropriate, we can explore one’s inner nature with the assistance of ketamine-assisted psychotherapy.
